Mesotherapy

Mesotherapy is a technique of injecting a small amount of a customized mixture of conventional pharmaceutical or homeopathic medications, vitamins, minerals, amino acids and enzymes into the mesoderm – or middle layer of skin. Mesotherapy may be used for patients seeking reduction of cellulite, reduction of body fat, body sculpting, facial rejuvenation (mesolift, mesoglow), and eye fat pad reduction.

Traditional Needle Mesotherapy
Developed in France over 50 years ago, Mesotherapy has been successful in body shaping, cellulite reduction and skin rejuvenation. The limitation of the growth of Mesotherapy has been the pain and side effects due to the needle delivery process. Using needles, the abandonment rate is estimated as high as 80-90%. This is directly attributable to the pain and discomfort experienced by patients. Additionally, recovery time between treatments limited the success. Patients often needed two to three weeks before attempting another treatment. This painful procedure of needle Mesotherapy also limited the size of treatment area.

No Needle Mesotherapy
No Needle Mesotheraphy is a new technique without pain and without bruising.

The needle free mesotherapy injection system is known as the Ultrapeel Transderm Ionto System. It provides a non-invasive effective and comfortable alternative to the mesotherapy injections. It is the only system that is FDA cleared for the transdermal delivery of the mesotherapy drugs into the body with no need of either injections or syringes.

How the Ultrapeel Transderm Ionto System works - It uses microdermabrasion to exfoliate the stratum corneum allowing Dermoelectroporation Technology to make the ionic drug solutions enter the dermis by means of low energy, electrical pulses.
Benefits of the Ultrapeel Transderm Ionto System - It provides a non invasive option to injections that may help minimize skin trauma, pain associated with needles and allow all patients scared by syringes to minimize concern over possible infectious disease hazards.
Length of each treatment - It varies depending on the specific needs of the patient. Normally Transderm Delivery is not a very long procedure. There is no downtime.

Discomfort during the treatment - For very sensitive skin types, at the very beginning, a very mild scratching sensation may be experienced. This disappears during the treatment. Also, the vibration feature on Ultrapeel Transderm Ionto System minimizes the electrical pulses perception resulting in a very pleasant experience.

How many treatments are required before I see results?
It depends on the patient's body and the extent of the fat/cellulite/skin to be treated. Some patients see results after one treatment session while most patients require three to five (3 - 5) treatments to notice results. Often the patient’s clothing will become looser and the patient will appear thinner. Mesotherapy is more about losing inches than losing large amounts of weight. Proper dietary lifestyle and nutritional supplementation are essential to achieve the best long-term results.
